FAQ
Can my child join?
We are a club primarily aimed at adults and teens. We do however have some children thatdisplay with us at events along side their family who are members. We do aim to make mostof our club social events family friendly.
- Is there a kids club?
- Not through us. A lot of schools offer Lego clubs. The Hamilton City, Waikato District and
- Waipa District Libraries all offer an assortment of Lego clubs and activities. The information
- for these can be found on their websites. Hamilton based Bricks 4 Kidz has a range of
- options as well. Details for those are on their website.
I have an old set and I’m missing some parts. Where can I find replacements ?
Going directly to Lego is an option if you set is newer. For older parts the Bricklink website is great. It’s like trademe (or ebay) for Lego.
Can some of your members come and talk to our school or community group ?
Getting out and about in the community is one of our favourite things. We’ve previously displayed and held talks for many different schools, Scout groups, libraries and community groups. If you would like to have us visit your group for talk please send us an email Via the Contact Us page.
Can you do a display at our school ?
We are always looking for new places to display our work. Drop us an email Via the Contact Us page and see if we can help out.
I have some old Lego to get rid of, what do I do with it ?
As a club we take donations (we do not buy them off you) of old unwanted Lego that we can then use when we do visits and talks or for club activities. If it isn’t suitable for our needs we will donate it on to a schoolbrick programs or similar community group.
